What is the best time of the year to sell a home. My answer is always the same. The best time to sell your home is whenever you need to sell your home.Homes that show exceptionally well and priced correctly always sell regardless of time of year.
If you are getting relocated for a job and you need to move and its November, the idea of waiting until spring market to list your house is foolish. Buyers never stop looking and obviouslybuying a home over the Holidays isn't as ideal however its happens all the time. We sell just as many homes in the Winter months as we do in the Spring months.
The truth is that maybe you have more buyers "looking" in the spring market, but you will also have less competition in the "slower" times ofthe year.
Even though certain communities, types of homes and price point may spike in listings and sold homes at various times of the year, we strongly believethat a great house will always sell for top dollar and fast as long as it's priced correctly and shows extremely well.
