Weekly giveaway partners local restaurants with nominated healthcare workers.
Timonium, MD: The W Home Group of Next Step Realty, Marylands Leading Real Estate Team, is taking giving back to the community twofold with their latest social media promotion. Friday, the team unveiled their recent giveaway in which local healthcare heroes can be nominated by friends, colleagues, or family to win a $100 gift card from a local restaurant. Not only does this style of giveaway support local businesses, but also provides much-needed encouragement in light of extremely stressful times for many in health care.
Scrolling through the first few comments for this weeks post, the themes of recognition and gratitude prevail. We knew that we wanted to give back to the community in these tough times, but we werent prepared for the outpouring of kindness and appreciation the giveaway generated commented the W Home Group. Not only has the positivity come from the posts, but also from the partnerships.
The Home Group reached out to four local restaurants: Brookside Market, Pappas Restaurant and Sports Bar, Kocos Pub, and Glyndon Grill to purchase their gift cards for this giveaway, and the responses were amazing! Every business we called shared the Home Group, reacted with appreciation and even offered additional benefits to the winners! Some of those benefits included a discount to all healthcare workers ordering meals, to the trio of Pappas restaurants joining forces to match the Home Groups gift card with one of their own!
