1. Harbor East

Where: 801 Aliceanna St Baltimore, MD 21202

About: Harbor East is a great are known for its vibrant dining scene, with trendy fusion restaurants and slick bars overlooking the docks. The harborside promenade leads towards the aquarium and museums at the Inner Harbor.

Feedback: There is much to do! Family friendly, great walks, and very clean. I enjoyed the all-around Military ships, National Aquarium and visiting the old submarines.

Hours: Due to COVID-19 restaurants are only doing carryout, but visitors can still walk around the water and go into shops, until 9pm.

2. Canton Promenade

Where: 3001 Boston St, Baltimore, MD 21224

About: The promenade is a seven-mile walkway that offers the best waterfront view in the Baltimore Harbor. People who are history lovers can check out Fort McHenry while on their walk on the Promenade. There is an awesome marina allows visitors to explore the boats and history of Baltimore, while getting a beautiful view of the water.

Feedback: Beautiful views of the water all along this walk. At one point you can see views of the lighthouse, the Inner Harbor, and ships.

Hours: The walk around the Inner Harbor is 24/7, but if your looking for food and shops, then make sure you check it all out before 9pm.

3. Fells Point

Where: 1710 Thames St, Baltimore, MD 21231

About: If someone is looking for a good time, then Fells Point is the place to be. They offer live music, diverse cuisines, and beautiful homes - right on the water.

Feedback: Great area to go for a night out. Lots of fun bars and restaurants

Hours: Restaurants and bars are open, but no live music right now because of COVID-19 and the possibility of large crowds.

4. Gunpowder Falls State Park

Where: 2813 Jerusalem Road Kingsville, MD 21087

About: Gunpowder Falls State Park offers over 18,000 acres through six different sections of the park. You can go hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing and even paddling. The views along the trail are second to none!

Feedback: This is a beautiful park that is hidden away from the main road. We love to visit and listen to the water. When its hot in the summer we have swam in deeper areas of the park.

Hours: The trail is open 24/7, but the park headquarters is only available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5. Liberty Dam Trail

Where: 11648 Marriottsville Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104

About: A beautiful trail that captures one of the best waterfall views in the state! Its good for bringing your family and dog (Must be kept on leash) to walk around and enjoy a nice sunny day.

Feedback: Super easy and short trail and the view of the dam when you get to it is awesome!

Hours: It is open 24/7!!

6. The Quarry Lake

Where: Quarry Lake Dr, Baltimore, MD 21209

About: The Quarry has amazing restaurants and shops to explore, as well as an easy walking trail that loops around a body of water.

Feedback: The views were amazing while on our walk around the Quarry!

Hours: All restaurants are closing at 9pm and offer only pick up or outside seating right now.

7. Island View Waterfront Cafe

Where: 2542 Island View Rd, Essex, MD 21221

About: Enjoy a great dinner with waterfront views, plus, before eating, visitors can check out the kayaking rentals that they offer.

Feedback: If you enjoy a great view of the bay, this is a great place to eat.

Hours: It is closed right now, due to COVID-19.

8. Middle Branch Park

Where: 3301 Waterview Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

About: The outdoor parks and walks are the place to be on a beautiful summer day. Middle Branch offers some of the best views in town!

Feedback: Great place to take your kids and walk around

Hours: It is open 24 hours!

9. Annapolis City Dock

Where: Dock St, Annapolis MD 21401

About: This is one of the most beautiful places in all of Maryland because of the waterfront view. With boats, restaurants and shopping everywhere you look, its the perfect place to go with your family and friends for the day and take in some beautiful scenery.

Feedback: We went out with a group of 10 this week and it was absolutely amazing, from all the shops to good food.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday, and Mondays are 24/7 except shops and restaurants.

10. Centennial Park

Where: 1000 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042

About: There are boat rentals, concession stands, and te most beautiful walk you can find. Its great for a couple or family to come for the day, have lunch, and enjoy a great walk around the water.

Feedback: This is the prettiest park in the area, especially during the fall. The path around the lake is 2.5 miles of easy walking and the fall colors are beautiful because you can see the lake.

Hours: 6:30 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. Sunday-Saturday
